Rick, as a fellow geographer I regret not getting to know you better and learn what aspects of Geography most interested you.  Our training has greatly enriched my life, observations and travels and has informed my work as a cartographer.  Your father published the widely used Atlas of the Pacific Northwest.  Rest in Peace.  Peter Eberhardt

I was certainly saddened to hear of Ricks passing, and did not know that he actually was a geographer which in high school and college was one of my favorite subjects. Call too many of our class cast to Young! 😵

In school, Rick tried to play music with his buddies, which were not bad, and we would all try to sing Carrie An all in a volswagon bug. Man was that ever fun. Just to say we could hit the high falceto note, those wee the days....
