I don't care what anybody says, RH was my friend, we had a few run in's, but we liked each other. Remember at his parents house in north Corvallis, we would learn and love CCR Sonics Paul Revere and the Radiers, and a whole lot of other music. I leared a lot there, which turned me into a Rock Sar...He, He, I still miss him a lot!
My 1st teaching job was in Newport. Hung out with Ronnie at the Sand Bar Tavern co owned by him and his family. Even got Ronnie to play softball for Wynn Fischer's Lemmings, so we had lots of fun . Hopped more than a few bars with Ron and tons of laughs! Miss him !
Oh my, Ron Hudson, one unique man. You never knew which Ron was gonna show up, the one who wanted to party, or the one who wanted to rough it up. No matter, he was just a great guy and extremely loyal to his friends. Just this morning I met someone from Newport and I asked them if they knew Ron Hudson. So sorry that I hadn't seen him in oodles of years. RIP, Ron, I hope life's as easy as i'ts supposed to be up there.
