I knew he enjoyed motorcycles and am gladdened to know he worked as parts manager in a motorcycling company in New Jersey at the time of his death. Doug was convivial and upbeat in the late 60s and early 70s when I saw him occasionally in Corvallis.
Doug designed jewelry in Corvallis from at least 1973 to 1975, and designed a wedding ring for my wife. He was a great guy and we shared many laughs about our experiences at CHS. I did not know he was in New Jersey when he passed. Thanks for the update David..
