I remember John as a soft spoken gentle giant young man, with a easy way of communicating

his thoughts. He had a very imaginative sense of humor, and was quick on his feet replying

to a jest. If you ever needed help working on your old jelopy, he would always be available .

Rest in peace my friend.

Here's my "Dear John."  We spent many a night working on cars and knocking back a few beers. Your fastback Mustang GT with white interior was such a beauty. You had it painted a special lime green only to have the school district paint their vehicles almost the identical color! Were you upset!

You had such a huge, infectious smile. Loud as hell laugh, but so genuine. You were truly a gentle giant. We did not stay in touch and for that I regret greatly. You were a good friend.

Rest in peace, my brother. We'll meet again that's for sure.

Always your friend, Killer.

Wow I just saw that John passed away. I had  know him since I was in grade school. His Mom was our Cub Scout leader.....Lots of memories. .... I saw him in Corvallis about 6 years ago. He was up seeing his Dad . He was living in the south near the Mississippi River. Going to try and contact his brother , Randy, tomorrow to see if I can get some more information. God Bless...Bob Kean

I had a few classes with John.  Tried to get him to attend a Class Reunion but he was pretty locked in to Lake Charles, LA. Really a nice guy and always enjoyed his companionship/friendship.

Wow, shocked and saddened but filled with great memories. Knocking back beers he had obtained from Burla's market because at 17 he looked 25! The Sprick's and Kennedy family go way back. God's speed my brother!
