I visited Jacque when she lived in the Portland area around 1998-2003 when she worked in the health care field. She always seemed sad, blamed herself for Mike Meester's death but loved animals and taught me something that she had gained from her pets, "You must learn to love those who love you" like pets do. She produced a beautiful daughter who married a very religious fellow and I went to her daughter's wedding. I took Jacque and her sister Carol to see Stevie Nicks and Boz Scaggs when they were at the Rose Garden then later to see John Mayall, the English bluesman who gave Eric Clapton his start. She enjoyed talking to me about our common friends from the mid-1960s such as Kerry Harrison, Starr Conley, Rob Ford, Brent Durbin.
